Daily Trivia Contest Rules:
Brought to you by Arts Downtown, Puyallup. Open to Washington residents aged 18 and above. Board members of Arts Downtown are not eligible to win. Once you’ve won, you cannot win again. Trivia will be posted on Facebook at 9:00 a.m., and winners will be announced at 5:00 p.m. the same day. If the winner doesn’t respond within 48 hours, the prize is automatically forfeited—one entry per person per day. Winners are announced daily on our Facebook page. Prizes are gift cards to local restaurants and businesses. Arts Downtown reserves the right to cancel or adjust the contest if needed. By entering, you agree to these rules.
Official Contest Rules
1. Eligibility: The Daily Trivia Contest (“Contest”) is open to legal residents of Washington State who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Employees, contractors, officers, and current members of the Arts Downtown Board of Directors, as well as their immediate family members and household members, are not eligible to participate or win.
2. Prior Winners: Any individual who has previously been selected as a winner in this Contest shall be ineligible to win again in any subsequent Contest period.
3. How to Enter: Trivia question will be posted at 9 am each day. To participate, entrants must follow the instructions posted on Arts Downtown’s official Facebook page during the Contest period. Only one entry per person per day will be accepted. Entries that do not comply with the stated requirements may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Arts Downtown.
4. Prizes: Prizes will consist of gift cards to local restaurants and other businesses in and around Puyallup, Washington. The nature, number, and approximate retail value of prizes will be stated in the Contest announcement for each trivia question. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be substituted except at the sole discretion of Arts Downtown.
5. Winner Selection: Winners will be determined based on the correct response(s) to the daily trivia question, as described in the Contest announcement. In the event of multiple correct entries, the winner will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received each day. All decisions of Arts Downtown regarding winner selection are final and binding.
6. Notification of Winners: Winners will be announced at 5pm each day and notified via Arts Downtown's Facebook direct message. By entering, participants consent to this method of winner announcement. Winners may be required to contact Arts Downtown to arrange prize delivery. If a selected winner does not claim the prize within the designated 48-hour timeframe, an alternate winner may be selected at the discretion of Arts Downtown.
7. Publicity Release: By accepting a prize, winners grant Arts Downtown the right to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes, including on social media, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
8. General Conditions: Arts Downtown reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Contest, as determined in Arts Downtown’s sole discretion. Arts Downtown also reserves the right to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or otherwise violating these Official Rules.
9. Limitation of Liability: By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Arts Downtown, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
10. Governing Law: The Contest and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles
