Artist Statement

CJ Rench is a professional sculptor with a focus on large-scale designs and fabrication. He has a particular emphasis on “Biophilic design” – art that connects the natural world with our built environments. His aim is to inspire a sense of community, encouraging creative expression that enriches the spaces in which we live.

About his art, CJ says: “My philosophy for my sculpture is to create compelling sculptures that contain multiple layers of meaning, a sense of discovery and timeless enough to encourage repeated viewing over time. I use bright and bold colors in my works. Life is colorful, joyful & exhilarating; why shouldn’t art be?
