Eternal Heart
In 2024, “Eternal Heart,” a beautiful sculpture created by Sabah Al-Dhaher was installed in our Permanent Gallery and dedicated to Rosemary Eckerson. Rosemary conceptualized and founded Arts Downtown’s Outdoor Sculpture Gallery. She was a co-founder and an integral part of Valley Arts United. Several friends, family members, city officials and Arts Downtown members gathered in August of that year for the official dedication. Rosemary worked diligently to give art a home in our community. It is not too much to say that she was loved by those who knew her and was a great inspiration to us all.
