Basic Entry Requirements: All art must be durable, able to maintain its quality in extreme weather conditions and withstand possible pedestrian contact. Each piece accepted must be of sufficient size to be easily visible to passerby. Each piece must pass final inspection upon installation. All art must be for sale. Arts Downtown will assist with the technical aspects of the installation if requested.

Resume: A Current resume that includes day/evening/cell phone, fax, email, internet and mailing address.
Color Prints: A color print (minimum 5X7) of each entry labeled with artist's name and title of work. Color prints of work selected will become the property of Arts Downtown.
Proposals for Nonexisting Work: If your work is nonexisting, please submit a detailed illustration for each entry. Indicate size, color, exterior finish, material and finished composition. Arts Downtown reserves the right to reject work that when completed differs from the original proposal, or does not meet standards of durability.
Artist's Statement: A statement in 25 words or less that describes your work (inspiration, personal statement) particular to each entry and suitable for publication.
Annotated List: An annotated list of each entry submitted including artist's name, address, telephone, fax, email, internet address, along with the dimensions, weight and medium for each piece, and artist's statement.
Information on Mounting: Our bases and pedestals have steel tops, so the sculpture must have a 1/4" thick steel base attached that can be spot welded during installation. |
