"Explore Puyallup's Outdoor Gallery"
My goal is to express the emotional impact of life To capture the moment of light and shadow, emotion and movement in solid form or words. As I work I search for the feelings that are evoked by the object or poem I see evolving before me. This process may not be on a conscious level as I work from my inner self to the outer reality. I often see unexpected emotions in my work, but I want the viewer/reader to be more aware of their own feelings, not necessarily mine. I want personal involvement from the viewer/reader. In revealing myself I hope to create a mirror for others to view themselves and their lives. What my thoughts or insights were need only be asides. What the viewer receives or gives to my work is the natural conclusion to each piece.
