ABOUT THE ARTIST
Nicky Falkenhayn is a sculptor living in Portland Oregon. She spent the first half of her life as a PE and sports instructor, traveling 3 times around the world. Once settled in Portland in 1990, art became the focus of her life. Classes at Oregon College of Art and Craft and Pacific NW College of Art launched her as a fiber artist. After the birth of her son she changed to sculpture and jewelry. Her work often combines welded steel structures with plate glass or knitted wire accents.
